Comparison of Adverse Outcomes in Cirrhotic and Non-Cirrhotic Patients with Covid-19 Disease

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the comparison adverse outcomes in cirrhotic and non-cirrhotic patients presented with coronavirus disease. Study Design: Place Duration: department Medicine Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital Mirpur Azad Kashmir Mohiuddin Hospital, AJK for six months during period from October 2020 March 2021. Methodology: Total 80covid-19 both genders or without chronic liver disease were enrolled study. Patients aged between 20-55 years. divided two groups. Group I (with cirrhosis 40 patients) group II (without patients). Outcomes term mortality groups examined. All data was analyzed by SPSS 26.0 version. Results: There 24 (60%) males 16 (40%) females mean age 44.19±7.65 years while 27 (67.5%) 13 (32.5%) 43.62±5.34 We found that rate among (cirrhotic) had high rate13 as compared 5 (12.5%) p-value 0.0003.
